It is so hard to have a litter of puppies sometimes. I have always been lucky and not had too many problems. This litter has been so different. First we lost the puppies during the delivery.... and then last night somehow Traveler laid on one of her puppies. We have been so vigilant watching over these 4 babies.... I just didn't expect this to happen after the puppies were this old.... and so big! They have grown so much in 8 days.
Goodbye Miss Pink. Sweet baby girl. I honestly can't belive you are gone.
So now we have 3.... a show boy for Gabby, a boy for Ginger and her family and the lone little girl will go to Ginger's mom, Rita.
I have pictures to post of the babies for you, but with all the craziness of the holidays, we have somehow managed to misplace the cord that hooks to the digital camera.... as soon as I find it I will upload all the pictures.
The puppies are BIG and FAT and move all around the box now. By the end of the week they should have their eyes open!
I am going to try really hard to focus on the positive.....
